United Lutheran Seminary is seeking to fill the position of Chief Financial Officer, with starting date negotiable.  Full Position Description ULS CFO 3-29-17.

Associate Director of Admissions for United Lutheran Seminary

The Associate Director of Admissions is a member of the Student Services and Enrollment staff, and, under the guidance of the Director of Admissions, supports the enrollment activities of ULS through representing the seminary to external audiences and providing timely and thorough follow-up to those interested in enrolling.  A primary function of this position will be articulating the mission, programs, and culture of both campuses of ULS to ELCA constituents.

This position will be based out of the Gettysburg campus.  Starting date is negotiable, but preference is no later than July 1, 2017.

A Bachelors degree is required; an MDiv or MA from an accredited seminary is preferred; 3+ years parish experience is preferred; previous experience in college or seminary admissions is helpful.

Director of Financial Aid for United Lutheran Seminary

United Lutheran Seminary (to be launched on July 1, 2017) is seeking to fill the position of Director of Financial Aid. The starting date is negotiable, but preference is no later than May 1, 2017.

In mid-2017, United Lutheran Seminary will succeed the historic Gettysburg and Philadelphia Lutheran seminaries, retaining campuses in both locations while being served by a unified faculty and administration. As part of this transition, United Lutheran Seminary seeks an adaptive and knowledgeable Director of Financial Aid.  This position performs standard financial aid duties (needs analysis, verification, loan processing, return to title IV, SAP monitoring) and in addition will be given responsibility for the development, implementation, and assessment of financial aid policies and procedures that support the recruitment efforts of ULS.

A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years functional financial aid experience is required.  Broad knowledge of federal financial aid programs, including federal work-study, is expected.  A working knowledge of higher education student information systems (Empower) is preferred.

This position can be based out of either campus (Philadelphia or Gettysburg), with frequent travel to the other campus expected.
